Headliner Events are the main attractions of the Hancock County Fair. There’s something for everyone at the fair, and your business can reach the audience that’s right for you by sponsoring any of the activities in our great lineup.

    Hancock County Marching Band Showcase
    Wednesday / Investment –$2,000 Sponsor/Co-Sponsor
    A perennial event featuring hundreds of our County’s youth in the marching bands from all the Hancock County Schools for a special night of great music and marching maneuvers.

    Donkey Races for Flag City Honor Flight
    Wednesday / Investment – $2,400 Sponsor
    Donkey jockeys are local celebrities and residents who have garnered their sponsorship donations to benefit the Flag City Honor Flight. Jockeys do their best to stay astride these “gentle” donkeys in the qualifying heats to earn their spot in the finals. It’s a hoot!

    Calf Scramble
    Thursday / Investment – $2,000 Sponsor
    Contestants and cattle go head to head in a battle of wills and might at Hancock County’s annual calf scramble. This event continually fills the north grandstand and crowds surround the arena each year. Families come to watch little ones take part in the Chicken Scramble before the main event, and all stay to enjoy the show.

    Harness Racing with pari-mutual stakes
    Wed. & Thurs. / Investment – $2,000 Sponsor
    2 and 3 year old, Trotters and Pacers, Standard Bred from across the region descend on Hancock County for 2 days of fast action racing on the South Track.    Hancock County Barrel Battle
    Friday / Investment –  $1,000 Sponsor/Co-Sponsor, $250 Barrel Sponsor
    Very exciting competition open to all comers from the 3-state area to lay down the fastest time on the three-barrel pattern in the North Arena to win the purse and bragging rights.

     

    KOI Drag Racing
    Friday / Investment – $2,000 Sponsor/Co-Sponsor, $500
    They race ANYTHING! Cars, trucks, motorcycles, snowmobiles, ATVs, golf carts, even horses. Yes, we said horses. If they don’t have a class for you, they will make a class for you.

    Horse Team Pulling Contest
    Saturday / Investment – $2,000 Sponsor/Co-Sponsor, $500 Pulling Sled Sponsor
    A Hancock County Fair Standard. It’s often said, “It not the Hancock County Fair without the Horse Pulls.” We can always count on the North Arena stands being full for this event.

    Demolition Derby “It Moved To Saturday!”
    Saturday / Investment – $2,000 Sponsor/Co-Sponsor, $500 Forklift/Wrecker Sponsor
    Drivers compete in this smash ‘em up event where they intentionally crash their late model cars into their competitors, all with the goal to be “The Last Car Moving!” Lots of action, Lots of wreckage, Lots of fun! This event has been the long-time end of fair capper!

    Gospel Worship Concert
    Sunday Night / Investment – $2,000 Sponsor/$500 Co-Sponsor
    Sojourner Quartet is a Christian music ministry based in Findlay. Sojourner began in 1991 as a contemporary Christian group playing their own instruments and writing many of the songs they performed. As their popularity spread, they began to play throughout the country. In 1998, the group went solely southern gospel. As their ministry grew, they shared the platform with many of today’s top southern gospel groups

    NTPA Tractor and Truck Pull
    Sunday / Investment – $2,000 Sponsor/Co-Sponsor, $1,000 Track, $1,000 Sled Sponsor
    Wear your ear protection for the super modified, and get your fix of Black Smoke from the diesel truck and pro stock tractor classes on the South Track. The National Tractor Pulling Association delivers a super show of pulling power and slinging dirt!
